I REALLY REALLY LOVE AVATAR, SO I'M GONNA TELL YOU ALL ABOUT NICKELODEON'S NEW TV SERIES! THE LAST AIRBENDER : THE LEGEND OF KORRA !!!!!!!!!!
So, the creators have confirmed to release The Last Airbender : The Legend of Korra on 23rd July 2010 in the San Diego Comic Con.
Just in case you're asking was I there. The answer is.....
But honetly I WISHED I was there.
Anyway if you're asking where I got all this information about the comic con and stuff, I got it from a friend from the Last Airbender Fans or simply known as LAF. SO GO THERE!
So, the first question you're probably gonna ask me is why the hell they made the name "The Last Airbender : The Legend of Korra" instead of "AVATAR : The Legend of Korra". Well, I'll tell you why. James Cameron (the producer of the blue people = AVATAR) copyrighted the name AVATAR!!!
But Bryke thought of it before James Cameron! But sadly they forgot to copyright or trademark it, so they were forced to use the name "The Last Airbender" (name invented by M.Night Shyamalan).
So anyway, the creators confirmed they would release The Legend of Korra on November 2011.
But they delayed it to April 14th 2012, due to the addition of 14 episodes
So, Korra is a 17-year-old teenager from the Southern Water Tribe who is basically the reincarnation of Aang who died in the age of 150, so it makes her the AVATAR. She is hot-headed and rebellious. Previously, she has mastered waterbending, earthbending and firebending, people say she is a really talented bender.But she hasn't mastered airbending yet, but in the prequel of this show it says that Aang was the last airbender, so how did she manage to learn airbending? Well Aang got married to Katara (SO IN YOUR FACE ZUTARIANS!! HAHAHA) and they had three children, their youngest son was Tenzin he himself had three children (Jinora, Ikki & Meelo). So Tenzin is an airbender so he taught Korra how to airbend and those stuff.
And guess what Katara also appears in the series! And you're thinking she must be really old, yes she is.
And talking about the cast of the prequel, Toph travelled around the world just to teach metalbending! Sadly she doesn't appear on the series, but her daughter does! Her name is Lin Bei Fong chief of the police in the Republic CIty and a metalbending expert herself (taught by her mother the founder of metalbending).
But thinks that Korra is a threat to Republic City and is always protecting Republic City from her destructive fights. It's weird how her mother is team Avatar, but she is team against Avatar.
Oh yeah, you're probably wondering how they created Republic City. You see, after the war Zuko was coronated as the FireLord and Aang was the AVATAR. They gathered up people from all the 4 nations and created United Republic with Republic CIty as the capital.
